Insulated Jackets-Mountain Equipment Womens Alpamayo Jacket – Magma

Warm, packable and almost unaffected by wind, rain and snow, this is critical all-weather insulation for climbers and mountaineers.

Materials
GORE-TEX INFINIUM – Combine multilayer membrane technology with high performance fabrics to produce a fabric that is windproof, highly breathable, and extremely resistant to rain and snow.

PrimaLoft® Gold Hi-Loft Ultra uses silicone-treated fibres to ensure exceptional resistance to water, but it is its aerogel-based Cross Core™ technology and unique accordion-like construction (using vertically lapped fibres instead of the more normal horizontal fibre construction) which allows it to trap more air for a given weight of fill and offer better recovery and mobility. Hi-Loft Ultra is a vertically lapped insulation. In other words, the fibres are mostly orientated upwards, and it has the perfect mix of durability, warmth, softness, and drape, making it easy to move in. It’s the highest performing insulation used anywhere in Mountain Equipments insulated range.
