A closer look
Lightweight and taking up minimal space in your pack, the Firewall Light Jacket offers all-day weather protection for any mountain adventure, from your weekend hikes to hut-to-hut treks.

The jacket’s weight-saving design has only the features you need to stay dry and protected, such as the hood with a stiffened peak and gaiter to keep out draughts and drizzle. The single-handed hood cinch combines crown and face adjustment, allowing you to achieve a close fit in wild weather. Extended cuffs with hook and loop adjustment protect your hands from chilly winds, while the dual-sided rear hem adjustment seals out spray in a shower. Access the two zipped hand pockets easily even when wearing a pack thanks to the backpack-friendly pocket positioning, and the articulated sleeves give you the range of movement you need to take on steep scrambles.

Proflex is a Rab innovation offering protection and versatility. This highly breathable, waterproof fabric combines the performance and protection of a traditional hardshell with the comfort, stretch and feel of a softshell.
